מיכל פלד גינזבורג היא פרופסור לספרות צרפתית והשוואתית באוניברסיטת Northwestern שבארצות הברית ומשמשת כראש החוג לצרפתית ואיטלקית. בנוסף להתעניינותה בספרות צרפתית עוסקת היא גם בסיפורת עברית עכשווית.
